Indicators flashing too fast

Postby garryness » Mon Mar 05, 2018 11:47 am

My turn signals / indicators are flashing very quickly. I have checked all the exterior bulbs and they are all working. What I have noticed is the green turn light in the dash board is not working. Could this be the cause? ie does the circuit see it as having a light out causing it to flash quicker???

Incorrect bulbs cam cause the problem, also, the flasher relay is under the dash attached to the frame, easy to replace. Check ground at flasher and at fixtures.

I purchased a flasher from AutoZone for my 81 Spider. Although they assured me it was the correct flasher. The dash indicator would not light with it installed. I ended up buying one from a Fiat Vendor and all is well now.
