Alternator - what are these two wires?

Postby architect » Sat Nov 04, 2017 12:51 pm

Hello,

Will someone please identity the two wires in the photo (78 Fiat 124). They appear to be tied into the starter / alternator wiring harness, equal length, and both haveplastic wire terminals at the end

FYI I have removed all emissions items.

Thank you!

Don't worry about them - they don't go anywhere. I'm the original owner of a '78 and they've never been connected to anything. Must be left over from an old wiring harness design. They don't appear on the wiring diagram either.
