Temperature gauge linked to headlights

Postby joelittel » Fri May 05, 2017 10:15 pm

Tonight I discovered that my temperature gauge is somehow connected to my headlights. When I turn the headlights on the temperature gauge jumps up by 15-20%. When I turn the headlights off the temperature goes back down to normal.

I'm not looking forward to figuring this one out.

I had a similar problem. I cleaned the instrument ground terminal on the grounding pod above and behind the ignition switch. That pretty much cured my problem.

That doesn't sound too difficult to fine.

Thanks guys, that gives me hope.
