Where is this Ignition relay and what does it look like?

Postby KalamazooJohnny » Sun Apr 02, 2017 9:25 pm

On my sons 75, my next step is trying to replace the ignition relay. I do not know where it is or what it looks like. Is it one of the cubes on the driver side engine compartment? Does it have an ID number on it and if so what is it? I do not have spark and I do not know why. When I light bulb test between coil and brown wire, I get a dim light. When I do the same test on my 77, the light is bright. I use a light bulb for lack of one of those multi tester things. Have changed coils, reset points, changed out ignition switch, all I can see is that when he turns the key to on, the light clicks bright as it clicks and immediately goes dim. Can crank the starter over fine but there is no spark.
