Hi folks.
Just entered the board due to my upcommi g purchase of a nicely restored 1976 Spider.
However the engine is not the original but is a 132 CS2 000 I beleive.
Could any body give me the performance specs. on this engine?

Thanks in adv.

Hi and welcome! If your engine is a 1592cc 132 type, it may be similar to my 1973 version which supposedly makes 87 HP at 6200 rpm. Peak torque is 85 ft-lbs at 4200 rpm.

Mine's a very tame car, but nonetheless is a delightful experience.

Hope this helps and best regards,
Brian

Thans for your reply Brian

I have to make a correction on the serial no.

It is 132 C2 000.

Current owner claims it to be a 1995 ccm.

Rgds.

132.c2 is a 1995 cc engine. I'm not sure what the 000 variant is, but haven't seen that as a Fiat Spider model (which doesn't mean it isn't). As best I can tell from a Google search is that it is an engine from an Argenta 1981-1983.

Specs for it can be found here:
