Are these Stock 1800 Pistons?

Postby nelsonj » Fri Sep 15, 2017 12:43 am

Hey all,
The pistons in my 1800 have a slight dome (and cut away's for the valves). Does anyone know if these are stock pistons? Or did I luck out and have the PO boost the compression for me?

Thanks.

Well, I can't say for sure, but for comparison, the pistons on my stock '80 2L are flat across, across, though they have the valve relief. Looks like you have small domed pistons in there! Lucked out!

Hi!
They looks like regular OE 1800 132 pistons, 2,4mm high dome, will get you 8.9-1 in comp if stock 1800 head are used!
I live on the other side of the pond (Europe) not sure but in US they where flat OE and like 8,2-1 in comp..

Cheers
Alf
