Street Performance cam VS 1438 Stock cams
I was wondering exactly what kind of gain performance cams have over stock? I'll give you the break down of what has been done and what will. The head is a 1608 ported/polished w/ oversize stainless steel valves ans Isky springs. Piston are ~9.3:1 and the exhaust will be the Abarth headers and 2" pipe. Carburation is a 32/36 Weber on an 1800 intake manifold. At the moment I am trying to balance cost.

you're building a cylinder head that will operate well at high rpm, yet the stock cams don't make power in that range. Choose a pair of cams designed to make power in the range that your head will flow best
