Italian Eye Candy (2017 Stony Brook Concurso D'eleganza)

The local Fiats represented well at this all Italian Car Show.

Me and my shadow by our car.

1975 trimmed as older model by previous owner.

This is the dashboard our cars should have had from the factory. Then again, I might be a bit biased. I custom built a two piece dashboard and wood trim from Mahogany and stained it to match the Nardi wheel. Gauges trimmed in chrome and relocated.

Nice picture and your car looks very nice. The gauges are interesting - no clock? Looks like temp, oil pressure, gas and volts?.

Looks like a nice day with a lot of nice cars. Thanks for posting.

I'm sure the radio keeps better time than the clock ever would. I'd rather have a more useful gauge in that hole, an ammeter or oil temp provides more protection.

Exactly. Clock was badly scratched and not working. Volt gauge is by Veglia and a close, but not exact match (no Italian writing on it). Comes from a Jaguar of the same era, I believe, and they show up on ebay from time to time.
