Yeah, Pete, a '67. I love the stock Bonnevilles of the '60s but you can't find any decent ones under 6K or more and I found a deal on this (with oil leak) and decided it will be fun. And yeah it's wicked pizzah cool! My conservative biker brother in law was apoplectic! "No suspension, no front brake, blah, blah, blah." But, hey, this is my mid-life crisis.

To get my wife to agree to a motorcycle, I explained it this way:

I'm going to get one of the following (in order of which is cheapest)

1- Motorcycle
2- Airplane
3- Mistress

I got the motorcycle.
1979 Fiat Spider (since new)
2005 Lincoln LS (the wife's car)
2003 Chevrolet Cavalier (daily driver)
1999 Honda Shadow VLX 600
1972 Grumman Traveller 5895L (long gone).

Hey it's got a front suspension! Good rear disk, but I bet you will need to wear ear plugs....

Looks like a good way to treat the crisis. I bought a telescope.

Don't underestimate the front brake, it provides most of your stopping power. I know they aren't popular in the chopper community but they are incredibly useful.
