The new Abarth 124 R-GT

From Carthrottle....

"Want the most potent version of the Fiat 124 Spider possible? You’ll probably have the Abarth 124 in mind, but there is a pretty significant step up from that: the 124 R-GT.

Revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show alongside the regular Abarth 124, the €150,000 car has - hence the name - been built to FIA R-GT regulations. It puts out 296bhp from a 1.8-litre turbocharged four-pot, is still very much rear-wheel drive, and features radically overhauled suspension.

It’s seen testing in the footage above in preparation for the 2017 season. Sounds pretty angry, no?"
