Apparently there are not many cars arriving in the 1st shipment. I was only given 7 to choose from.... So we picked red.

Looks like a road trip to FFO 2016 is on the horizon.

Wasn't the story that the first batch were all going to be blue with premium equipment and trim?

I think you are thinking of the Prima Edizione Lusso: The Ultra-Rare 124 Launch Edition. Seems these are specifically ordered and are part of the launch but not really the first cars off the production line. This is a typical ploy by car makers with new models. The special color and trim to potentially help boost sales, profit, collectability.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

There are in fact PE's coming on the 1st shipment. All of the 1st cars are automatic transmissions and as far as I know they are all arriving in Baltimore in about a week.

And we just received the VIN for ours! So its official!

Andrew,

Did you just happen by the new spider, or were you wheeling around with someone we might know?

Baltimore?

I haven't paid a lot of attention to the new spiders and just just assumed they were assembled in Japan.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I assumed if final assembly was in Japan the port of entry would be on the west coast.

LA, Portland, Seattle would make sense! But where are they made? Italy or Japan?
