Making new door panels

Postby brackie1 » Wed Apr 11, 2018 8:24 am

I'm wanting to re-build my inside door panels. This will be a resto-mod project that will not resemble the original door panels which I find to be really boring. I'm looking for a place to buy ridged chrome door panel moulding/trim. I want to be able to size it and I want to able to either screw it on or it have the invisible clips or track. Does anyone know of a place.

so i was flipping thru an old issue of Hemmings motor news, saw some chrome spears in the cadillac restoration pages.... maybe something like that??

i had a mid 70"s surburban, that had chrome strips on roof, screwed to roof, for a roof rack.....might try truck suppliers.... just a thought
