I agree; Motorclassica in Melbourne this October.
The final results of your restoration are spectacular, as too the progress posts showing the process and techniques.

Great pics. I love the "from above" and the red interior looks great against the black. This combo really works well.

Have you show the car since the earlier posts? Also, have you had a chance to put some miles, errr, kilometers on it?

Just wonderful.

Do you have a boot? I don't know if they can be sourced as new anymore? My interior place made mine but it needs to be refreshed, (in white!)

I have driven the car over 500km since completion in April. Car has been presented in two shows and have been awarded best in class on both occasions.

I try to drive the car every weekend as I work interstate.

Outstanding - I remember reading that you were "applying" or something (invitation only?) for the second show, but fantastic that you won your class (1960-1979). I wasn't sure if you would go for a red or a black boot. I thought a black boot might be available for purchase. And I just noticed your engine compartment has a built in light! LOL.

Let's see 500km is (500/1.6) = 321 miles or so. That's about two weekends of driving for me - I get worn out much after 125 miles.

Keep posting pics! Especially with the beautiful Ozzy coast as a backdrop.

Peace.
Out.

Thanks Nelsonj, Engine lights are factory correct and fitted to all early model spiders. Not sure on the later versions.
