Car looks great! But, man I agree ... you gotta lower it! Looks like a boat right now ;) Are you sure you have the correct springs in there? Suspension binding? It looks way to high, even for a later US spec car.

Agree. I am waiting to complete the car (interior installed) before adjusting the height.

Note, this a euro pre-series spec car that may have had a higher travel height. I will need to check with some owners in Europe.

Hi Mick,
Your car looks wonderful - so very well done.
Your dash looks so nice, I'm motivated to redo mine (25 years after my first and current attempt....)
I'm wondering if you can provide some details:
1) What type of veneer did you use? (It looks like mahogany but with nice grain.) and where did you get it?
2) Did you stain it, and if yes, what stain did you use?
3) How did you get such a nice gloss on it? What material did you use, did you sand between coats (if yes, what grain(s), dry or wet?, by hand or machine?)

Again, it looks so nice I want to give it a try, but only if I get some "proven" tips.

Thanks in advance.

Peace. Out.

Had trouble finding just one word Mick.
Breathtaking, awe-inspiring, magnificent, wonderful, amazing, stunning, staggering, imposing, stirring, impressive; formidable, mind-blowing, jaw-dropping, excellent, marvelous...oh ya awesome too.

The dashboard restauration is simply fantastic.
I'm about to change my wood panels and want to know which kind of veneer/wood you use and more practical details to acheive this great look.
