3D printing of a front license plate bracket

Postby Sanderbing » Sun Sep 17, 2017 7:15 pm

I did not want to screw holes in the rubber of my front bumper, and too cheap to buy a real plate bracket, so designed a simple bracket to hold the license plate onto the chrome lower tube. Send me an email and I can send you the stl file if you have, or have access to, a 3D printer.

Next i need something to hold the 4-point shoulder harnesses in place. Will follow up with that design.

great idea

I think I have some light mounts made to clamp around roll bars or tube bumpers kc makes some and since the LP would hide them they might also work for someone
also speaker mounts for marine applications are made for tubing

3D printing is a great idea if you have access to one though
