Not sure I get it? Both those can be sourced from a dozen places?

That's where my post is tantalizing...

Consider the orientation of the parts.

Parts only an Aussie, Kiwi, or Brit could love, but I'll bet they are very rare indeed... :D

8) 8)

I'm in England so have been keeping an eye our for these so I can convert my car to RHD.

I have this original set up from '73 coupe and also have a brand new RHD Lada steering box as a backup. I have the pedel box from a Lada saloon and I think that's all I need now to do the conversion.

I was thinking though that converting my rough old '79 might be a waste of the parts and probably better to source an earlier car as they are generally more desirable. Need to think about that though as solid earlier spiders are becoming more difficult. I imported my '79 and it was a cheap car ($2k).

The rarest part has to be the Inspection Light that plugs into the connector under the dash.

I once thought this was a bulb socket. I stuck a bulb directly into the port and it blew a fuse!

I can't remember if mine is still on my car or if I removed it. Are these a Hella plug? Reason I ask is allot of European cars used this type of plug for accessories. Where American cars used cigarette lighters, then later power points.

Here's a Hella type plug:
