Does anyone have a "bench test" procedure for the wiper motor,

I see there are six leads.

Can someone tell me which way (turned left or turned right) the dash knob is positioned for the "high" or "low" sweep rate?

Is this the correct orientation:
- turned left = "High"
- turned right = "Low"

I believe that the tach gets its signal directly from the distributor. Broken/frayed/exposed wires are a frequently cited problem.
