Before removing tranny and bell housing from motor (new clutch) is there a gasket for motor to bell housing? Can't find a gasket offered any where.

No gasket. There's nothing in there requiring a sealant.

In fact there is a small recess at the bottom of the bell housing. I suspect that is there to allow any "stuff" to drain out of that area.
