Question about grille lights

Postby Andygattica » Thu May 18, 2017 5:07 pm

Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone can advise... I saw a 124 in the office car park the other day with lights mounted in the front grille. Was this a standard feature on some cars or is this a modification?

A common modification. It's an area you can put fog lights or alternate turn signals without cutting the body and destroying paint.

Andygattica -
I did that to my '83 Pininfarina when I took the stock bumpers off. I think it worked out well and certainly improved the looks in my opinion.

we've mounted driving and/or fog lights in both the upper grille and the lower grille. In the lower grille we used 7" lights in a side by side mounting. In the upper grille we put 4" lights in the corners. The trick is to design a look that seems like it came from the factory and not just hung as an aftergthough
