here's a new one

Replaced my MC a month ago and couldn't get the rear brakes bled. Couldn't get any fluid thru the system. So, I addressed the issue again today. same routine. Then I dropped the rear axle and now i can bleed the brakes. Is this ass-half backward or what. Any ideas?

It's possible the brake compensator plunger was either engaged or stuck blocking the brake fluid travel to the rear cylinders.
