After about 4 months of the car sitting because of a leaking head gasket, it's finally running again. I had surgery the beginning of December and really didn't have the stamina to work on it until recently.

azruss came over yesterday and went over all the minutia that I probably wouldn't have thought of.

To my surprise, the car fired up on the first crank before putting the timing light on it.
Best of all, nothing is leaking! Well, nothing that wasn't leaking before all this happened.

So kudos to Russ, a proven friend with a ton of Fiat knowledge to share.

Always fun getting together with John. He has a beautiful one owner spider. John had everything put together properly so there wasn't much for me to do besides drink his beer. The biggest help I provided was getting the hood put back on straight.

Drinking his beer was a very important part of the job. Without your help he would have probably had too much and really screwed things up.
Your selfless contribution is admired by all of us.

I'm gonna need a bigger lock for the beer fridge.
