Really good tribute to the old, less so complementary on the new, but definitely worth a watch...

Agreed, an amazing tribute that nicely makes up for the 'last' of the old TG episode which was cut short. In the old series they filmed the bit where they complained about their cars (124 Spider, a Peugeot and an MG) but because of Clarkson's 'altercation' they never managed to film the usual bit at the end of arguing that they each had the best car. I felt cheated then because Clarkson has reported in the past how much he admires the Fiat TC engine.

I think in just a few short minutes Matt L-B has now done wonders for the status and value of 124 Spiders. It'd be interesting to know how many searches the classic car websites in the UK are getting for 'Fiat 124 Spider for sale' this evening!

I think the "old" was Gary's 1969 here is the video I did years ago.. think they did a "for filming" plate swap. How many 1969 spiders in positonal yellow do you think have survived?

You're Ryan? You no longer produce those fantastic videos. I always wondered what happened to you. Do you still have your grey '74?

It was mine alright - it was filmed in December in Malibu Canyon and on PCH near Zuma Beach. Alvon and I were there.
