Lol junked :)
I have a question for you mark. I can take a photo i Monday too
I took the old starter out and i put in your reduction one that i had bought for my 69, anyways i notice that is sets agains the steering box, i thought that was odd. I do have new engine mounts in too, but then when i turn the engine over, and let go of the key,the starter gear spins yet.im sure that common
But what about the steering box

I've seen some steering boxes with that little nub. It's just a casting nub, so we cut them off with a sawzall

+1! I was too embarrassed to post that myself, but it's exactly what my mechanic and I did last year when the new starter came in contact with that nub on the steering box. Worked great: no (very loud) vibration/noise. No ill effects after a year.
