single plane manifold question

Postby btoran » Tue Jan 03, 2017 2:03 pm

i'm looking into some potential performance upgrades for my car. mine is a 1975 model / 1800 cc. would it have come standard with a single plane manifold? how can i check to see if one is currently installed. thanks.

I have a '75 model with the same motor as you.
I have a single-plane intake manifold (can only assume it was standard, don't think the p.o. did any performance upgrades).

The only way I know to identify it, is to lift the carb off and take a look. I am sure that Mark and many others on this board could give you a more knowledgeable answer than I.

your original intake is the best choice, doubtful someone would change it to a less desirable intake
