Unleaded fuel decal?

Postby Nuvojoe » Sat Apr 15, 2017 11:45 pm

Hi all,
Can anyone confirm the unleaded fuel decal on a 83' spidereuropa. Its a Canadian car and Im wondering if 1. there was a decal under the fill door.
2. if its a canadian car would it have the "Essere " or french and english version on the decal? or did it just have "Unleaded Fuel Only" ?

Would appreciate the clarification

Hi
I saw a Fiat X 19 in a Montreal parking lot yesterday . It had a big "unleaded gas "sticker
along side the exposed gas filler cap . The sticker was in French and English ,it would have been too big to fit under a 124 filler flap. Given the small Canadian market ,I would think that FIAT might have used a common bilingual sticker for the X19 and 124 ?

Thanks Maddog

I believe AR sells a decal with the french and english on one sticker. You might be right. to big for the underside of fill cap on a 124?

Lets see if anyone can confirm that the English only version is what was on the 124

My '83 spider had the sticker on the fuel filler door on the outside surface. It was only in English I removed it way back when the car was new as it was not needed and did not add any think to the looks of the car, Also I forgot to state that it is a Canadian model. Brian

Mine too is on the outside surface and I believe all the decals / placement to be original

That being said, it does look odd on the outside
