my girlfriend had a cat under her hood 2 years ago it went like this
she cranked it to go to work and thump thump raowww raowww hiss hiss
so she came and got me.i poped the hood and raowww hiss.
boy that cat was pissed and traped under the belt on her chevy
it wiggled and pulled its self free and bolted away.
no blood,so what do you do?....

The same thing happened to me about 25 years ago, but the cat wasn't so lucky! (The belt survived.)

Curious - what's with the metal cover on top of the K&N air filter? Is it part of a mod kit?

Wow, what is that you have hiding in the background of your spider?? (Which looks great, by the way-digging the chin spoiler)

Do you mean the car in the background or what's in the barrels? Or both? :P

Well, I would just assume that those are charred oak barrels and that you are aging home-made whiskey
But the car looks stunning! I recognize it, but can't put my finger on what it is. Looks like it was born in the mid-'60's, am I right?

It Looks very "Maserati-like," but I'm no expert.

gritracing, i noticed you have a heatshield around your air filter. I assume that is to keep hot air from the exhaust away. is it effective. Have you run your car both ways to see if there is a performance difference. I'm thinking of doing the same and would like to know if it is worth the effort.

Not much done in there that a couple rattle cans of paint, a bottle of Bad Dog aluminum polish and some elbow grease can't accomplish. Also, being retired and having the time helps. :P
