BC Coupe wheel spacers question

Postby karhawk » Tue Oct 13, 2015 8:53 pm

I would like to bring the wheels out on the coupe, stock offset really hides the rims.
MillersMule has aluminum spacers, 1" double hub centric for fronts and single hub centric in rear.

Is anybody running similar spacers and how is the handling and steering affected?

Thanks

Thanks, I guess there are two styles right? One where you bolt the spacer to the hub then bolt the wheel to the spacer depending on thickness.
It makes sense to use only one set of thru bolts, I don't want the handling to change much so I may go with Bayless 15MM spacers with longer bolts.

1" (25mm) is pretty aggressive. The ET on the standard wheels is about +25mm, if I remember correctly. You would be pushing them out to 0mm. The CD30s were +7, the CD66s on mine are +10. I already notice bump steer at +10.

I had a set of 1" rears on my CC. Even with the 7.5" Competizone Sport Wheels, the rears are still swimming in the vastness of open space that is the rear wheel wells. Will post a picture when I get a chance.

As you go further out, you throw a lot more junk up onto the paintwork...
