New member and an '81 Pininfarina owner since ''84.
Time to rebuild the suspension (in my garage). Forum members seem to
be doing this task themselves. Have been working on cars since a teenager.
Now I am 75 and still work on my '81. Do all fuel injection work my self,but
the suspension rebuild seems a little scary. If other owners are doing it, I ought
to be able to do it. Any special tools required? Where did you get all the bushings?
Are they the urethane bushings?

Welcome aboard! You will find plenty of friendly and helpful people here.

The suspension rebuild is not that hard, but it is intimidating at the first attempt. You can get control arms with new ball joints already installed (imho the best option, but many install their own ball joints) from the various vendors.

are the major parts providers of new parts in the US. This forum is undoubtedly the largest provider of used parts in the US, maybe the world.

There are numerous threads on doing this repair, with pictures (hopefully). Try the search function and read through the many threads and I bet it will answer nearly all of your questions.
