New Board Section/Area

Postby McFlash » Sun Jun 05, 2011 5:27 pm

Has anyone thought of having a section of the board organized by vintage?

For example, if the heading was "Vintage" the subheadings would be each year and people would find posts that specifically pertains to their year. Modifications, specifications, issues, etc. would easier to access. It's great to read and see all vintages, but I'm thinking this additional section maybe helpful.

Any thoughts?

that could be good but there is so much on here now it would be hard to orginize it all. Plus with all the changes they did on these cars it would have to be done by year of car than month than week.lol

if you where looking for something or a year just start a thread titled that year and model and tell everyone to post accordingly

but what do i know im not very stock, close

I thought about a new section for Body/Paint, but it seems most of that gets posted under the general or restoration topic(s)anyway

Originally Cosmetics was intended for body/paint topics but it has sort of diverted into restoration. Since most paint jobs are major undertakings now, restoration seems more appropriate.

Mark, Why does the "Wheels & Tires" section require a login to view? I understand why the classifies do, but W&T?

wheels shouldn't require a log-in, I'll have to check the settings
