Plastic trim behind headlight ring

Postby rlux4 on Sun Feb 07, 2010 11:24 am

I could use a replacement for the black plastic trim piece behind the headlight ring on the driver's side of my 82.
I keep forgetting to ask when I see any CSOs being parted out.

Cool Rey! Please PM me with what you want for it, OK?
BTW, to be clear, it is a wider piece on the CSOs than on the earlier cars. I looked at one Alvon had on the car he was parting out and it was a lot thinner than mine.

Thanks Snoopy, but I've never seen it on Ebay, could have just missed it though. What I see all the time is the headlight bucket or a metal ring like the one there now he's calling the headlight seat.

Isn't the early one just a rubber gasket? Here's the IAP one:

Thanks for trying Rey. Matt, are yours the wide ones? I'm afraid if I bought a new one from IAP, I'd have to get two so one wouldn't look so much better than the other. Then I'd have to look for a place to stay, because my wife would kick me out!
Thanks guys.

Nah, she'd only chew me out for spending the money on them.
She wouldn't actually kick me out. It would be more of a pushing motion.

Just send me the new one and I'll send you my used one! Actually, I painted my old one with black vinyl dye so it would match.

Duh! Way smarter than buying two new ones Trey. I'm really not dumb, like some thinkle peep.
Thanks everyone, I have one on the way from Sam Sciancalepore, who is an addition to my "all around good guy" list.
